We have completed the ductwork for channeling air into the fans which will propel the plane. We also opted to modify the design of the plane from a taperd intake duct to a straight through duct to provide as much air as possible to the engines. All six ducted fan engines have been installed into the track. The last 2 shots show how the bottom surface of the wing will sit over the duct once finished. At this point, it is already clear that this plane will be quite large when complete. The ductwork structure measures nearly a meter already, and the nose will extend almost another meter out from the point of the intake. It will be a big and difficult to maneuver plance when she’s ready to fly!
