We were lucky enough to have plenty of family around for Memorial Day this year. Gabe got to partake in the Madison favorite; Bratfest and spend some time with his extended family. Of course, there were plenty of cameras around to capture the excitement.
Gabe has also of late, become quite the poser. Capturing his unique and entertaining gestures has been tremendous fun for Lara and I. Be sure to check out the pictures.
We celebrated Gabe’s 1st birthday last week. It is very hard to believe that it has already been a year! We indulged in a chocolate cake for the family and Gabe did a good job of smearing as much of it as he could all over his face.
Over the weekend, Gabe got to run rampant with his new toys from everyone. Now that he is walking, it means we get to clean up the mess over a larger area of destruction. 
He wasn’t too happy about playing in the snow though. Very strange for a Wisconsin baby..
Gabe got dressed up in all of his red-bird clothes yesterday to root for the cardinals, or at least get ready for the upcoming season.
